Introduction: The Impact of Pressure in the Workplace
For almost a decade, I worked in sales across two different industries: finance and automotive. During this time, I closely observed how a workplace environment marked by constant pressure, rigid targets, and lack of listening can lead even the most dedicated professionals to burnout.
It’s common to hear leaders complain about high turnover in their sales teams. Often, the problem lies not in the lack of talent or effort, but in the absence of emotional management, purpose-driven motivation, and care for the human being behind the job title.
The Reality of Burnout: My Personal Experience
I myself was among the top sales leaders for nearly two consecutive years. Yet, I reached a point of deep burnout that forced me to resign. Instead of acknowledging my signs, the management chose to keep their structures unchanged — and let me leave without recognizing the journey I had built.
This type of experience is not isolated. I have also seen brilliant colleagues collapse, exhausted by targets that ignored the human factor. The company demands results but ignores the natural cycle of productivity, the need for breaks, transitions, and recognition that goes beyond salary.
The result? Loss of talent, a heavy atmosphere, and low innovation.
The Leadership Challenge: Results Without Considering the Human Element
Leaders often come into their positions with strong experience in results and processes, but without the space to fully develop their skills in people management. When the only form of feedback offered is financial, the bond with the company weakens.
People don’t want to just be a number: they want to belong, grow, and contribute meaningfully.
The Solution: Human Management and Purpose-Driven Motivation
It was based on this experience and my studies in transpersonal psychology that I developed a methodology for companies who want to create high-performance environments with emotional well-being and sustainable motivation.
